Marina's Soap Sock and the Easy-Peasy Washcloth ES25
This idea came from my student Marina, who took my Double-Knitted Felted Clutch class and made a double-knitted Soap Sock for me later.
This little soap holder is double-knit on straight needles to make a tube. It takes no time at all and makes a wonderful gift — make the matching washcloth with your leftover yarn!
Infinity Loop Scarf — To Ruffle or Not FP4
Infinity Scarves are all the rage these days! The great thing for knitters is that you don't have to spend $200 at a department store to get a gorgeous infinity scarf. It's an easy and fun way to use up stash yarn or indulge in some beautiful new yarn without breaking the bank. The Ruffled version, which produces a gentle drapey ruffle is great when using a single yarn. The Non-Ruffled version is perfect when combining different yarns and textures.
Simple Drawstring Bag FP7
Sometimes all you need for an evening out is a simple drawstring bag! This sweet little bag knit in a pretty yarn, with a seed stitch top, is the perfect size for your cellphone, lipstick and a credit card. Also great for a bride or bridesmaids gifts!
